Welcome to the cryptids portion of the website!

Cryptids are mysterious creatures that cannot be proven to exist. However, there are many people who firmly believe in these creatures, although many are skeptical, or believe that they are simply myths.

Now, you are probably wondering, what is MY take? Well, personally i believe that while some cryptids could exist (for example, for many years the platypus was a cryptid) I believe that many are simply myths. However, of course, this does not mean that they are important, or that they are entirely hoaxes. I tend to believe that most people who sight cryptids fully believe what they see, but are affected by either fear, anxiety, outside stimuli, or some other element that causes their senses to deceive them. However, these creatures are amazing and I believe they can show us much about ourselves, our communities, and our cultures.
